Contour SVT - Resonated Catback Kits

| Description:
This system is designed for the Ford Contour SVT model, but will also fit all non-SVT models, however; a passenger side exhaust hanger must be added to the frame of the car. For all SVT models the kit is a direct bolt on from the cat-back. This kit can be welded or clamped together (clamps are included).
This system is made of smooth mandrel bent tubing which allows for an even exhaust flow. The tips that come with this kit each include their own 14 inch Magnaflow resonator; followed by a stainless steel, double wall, circle tip, with a slight angle cut.
Average gains will be between 8-12 HP at the wheels, which might vary with your engine combination.
The sound of the Flowmaster muffler is loud and aggressive. This is the loudest muffler available for this system. The sound of the Borla muffler is loud and throaty. This is the second loudest muffler available for this system. The sound of the Magnaflow muffler is low and deep. This is the softest muffler available for this system.
The twin resonators located on the tips will help control overall volume while still providing the "muffler tone". These kits are quieter than our standard catback kits.
This kit comes with all hangers and flanges, and mounts at the factory mounting points. Average installation time for this kit is 2 hours. Don't forget to check out our Y-Pipes and Testpipes that we also offer for the Contour.
